The itinerary is easy and presents no technical difficulties. The ascent is on a beaten road and the descent follows the route of the outward journey with the only variation of facing a gully of fresh snow descending from the summit to the Malga di Romeno.
Rifugio Mezzavia and Malga di Romeno are excellent refreshment points.
On the ascent, avoid the lift track and follow the signs that lead onto a specially groomed road 'for skialpers.
