A pleasant, gentle and sunny, trail with original viewpoints over the famous Sanctuary of San Romedio.
Here is another way of combining a pleasant walk with a visit to the most famous sanctuary in Trentino and it’s suitable for everyone. The word “Lez” in the local dialect means irrigation channel. In fact the path follows the ancient course of the aqueduct created over 200 years ago that cuts the mountain half way up with original views of the Sanctuary of San Romedio. The walk starts as a wide cart track and then gets narrower and in two points there are passages protected by metal railings. This offers an extra sense of adventure to get the children interested in walking!
The itinerary proposed here is a loop that joins two different “Lez” paths: Lezi di Malgolo and Lez di San Romedio. At some points the trail gets narrower and is not suitable for pushchairs. Anyone with children can stop on the way back at the play area in the village of Malgolo where there is a canopy and a bar.
