Tret waterfall is, without doubt, the most spectacular waterfall in the Val di Non. The water plummets around 70 metres, although it looks even higher when viewed from below because you are standing at the bottom of a vertical semi-circular rock face which almost entirely blocks out the sky.
Tret waterfall can be reached on foot. The best way to view it is from below, via a 20-minute walk from the Albergo Aurora di Tret (near Fondo). The path crosses several verdant meadows, then goes down through the forest via a wooden staircase.
To the right of the Albergo Aurora there is a footpath which leads to a panoramic viewpoint of the waterfall from above.
