Malga di Romeno stands at 1769 m altitude at the foot of the majestic Monte Roen.
It is open all year round and is a favourite with hikers, bikers, snowshoers and skiers. It is also the ideal destination for anyone with children as it can be easily reached by car and near the farm there is a small play area and some farm animals.
From the farm you can reach the panoramic peak of Monte Roen along path 500 in just 45 minutes. Otherwise, you can go around the peak and go past Rifugio Oltradige from where the easy dirt track starts, leading up to the peak.
The farm is open at lunch time and for evening meals. In the evening you need to book. There are also 3 bedrooms to accommodate a total of 12 people.
From May, the malga is open every day. Please always contact the managers to check the opening times.
