In the Val di Non, there are many places called Regole. These are areas high above the villages where the harvesting of hay and the cutting down of trees for firewood were controlled by the “Regole”, or rules. The Regole di Malosco is, in fact, a vast prairie which is generally flat and encircled by a dense larch forest. In summers gone by, our forefathers would cut the grass for hay for their livestock. These days, the Regole di Malosco is a place where you can relax your body and mind, go for walks and taste traditional dishes in the mountain huts nestling on the edge of the forest.
