This mountain hut, at an altitude of 1854 m, is located in the province of Bolzano, where the Maddalene mountain range often blends with Trentino. It can be reached on foot from the village of Proves / Proveis, and the dishes and products offered are typical of South Tyrolean cuisine.
The hut is open for lunch and afternoon snacks, while dinner is available by reservation only.
It is a must-stop for those heading to Cima Lavazzè in summer or in winter with ski touring. From the hut, you can also pass by to climb the rocky summit of Ometto or skirt its ridge to reach the basin of the Cloz, Revò, and Kessel mountain huts.
The malga is open every day from early June until October 13.
