Mountain dairies and huts of Val di Non are our favourite destinations for mountain excursions. There are mountain huts that are easy to reach, others that require a beautiful high-altitude hike, and mountain dairies specialised in the production of delicious bio mountain cheese.
What all our mountain dairies and huts have in common, however, are the large green spaces that surround them. Here you can sit quietly and enjoy a good lunch in the open air or, why not, on a blanket in the middle of a meadow.

Rifugio Escursionistico Malga di Romeno
It is a compulsory stop-off for anyone heading up Monte Roen. From May, the malga is open every day. Please always contact the managers to check the opening times.

Malga Tasula
Malga Tasula is located in the great Dolomite amphitheatre of Pian della Nana. It is open every day from mid June until the end of September.

Malga di Cloz
It is located along the trekking paths of the Maddalene mountain farms. It is always open on Saturdays and Sundays. From 24 December to 6 January it is open every day. Then at weekends until mid-March. Open for lunch; open for dinner only by reservation. Reservations are required, please always contact the managers to check the opening times.

Agritur El Malget
A farm restaurant and manège on the edge of the woods above the village of Tuenno.

A mountain farm above Lake Tovel in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. It has an outlet selling goat’s cheese and is open every day from mid-June until the end of September.
