The Maddalene Sky Race, a trial running race with start and finish in the village of Rumo, is back.
Ready, set, go! It's time to start running seriously on the Maddalene: after the Vertical Pin, the trail and skyrunning season continues with the Maddalene Sky Race, reconfirmed in the Trentino Mountain Cup circuit, which brings together the most important sky and mountain running races in Trentino.
The route of the Maddalene Sky Race mainly follows the CAI-SAT altitude trail No. 133 Aldo Bonacossa, known and frequented by local and non-local hikers.
The route, which winds its way along the border between Trentino and South Tyrol, offers scenery of great beauty: green mountain pastures are followed by clear mountain lakes and rocky plateaus with views of the Brenta Dolomites and Val d'Ultimo.

A circular route of 23 km and 1730 m altitude difference, starting and finishing in Rumo. The highest point is reached on the summit of Monte Pin (2,420 m).
The route follows SAT trails No. 148 and No. 149 to the summit of Monte Pin (2,420 m), from here it is a direct descent to Malga Binasia and back along trail No. 133 A. Bonacossa to Malga Cemiglio. It descends teramite paths and forest roads to the finish in Corte Superiore.
