Castel Valer is an ancient manor open to the public that can be visited with a guided tour
An expert guide will accompany you to discover this living castle, which was opened to the public only a few years ago, so that everyone can experience its charm and beauty.
The tour includes the following areas: the courtyard, the gardens, the Chapel of San Valerio with its frescoes by Giovanni and Battista Baschenis, the Madruzzo rooms, the majestic Ulrico's Hall, the loggia, the study rooms, the gothic kitchen, the coat of arms room. The tour is introduced by a 10 minutes video. You can only visit the castle with a guided tour.

- You will need to park your car in the parking spots located in Piazza Carlo Antonio Pilati in Tassullo (where the GPS will direct you when entering Castel Valer as your destination). From here you can reach the castle on foot by a scenic 15 minute walk (in special cases - e.g. for elderly people - arrangements can be made to reach the Castle by car: phone +39 0463830133 and make arrangements with our staff).
- We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour so that the tour can start at the scheduled time.
- Dogs are not allowed inside the castle
- Please do not take photographs during the tour or in the rooms. Photography is only permitted outside the castle.
- Prams should be left at the entrance to the castle; for children who cannot walk, we recommend that you bring baby carriers.
- We advise you to wear comfortable shoes and suitable clothing to visit the private chapel, which is still consecrated.
