Every year, the first week of August the village of Cavareno celebrates the festival Charta della Regola, an incredible historical reenactment of the ancient municipal ordinances.
Cavareno transforms itself into a old village for the occasion, to remember the period of the Charta della Regola, the ancient statute written in 1632 that established the rules of peasant life, from hay cutting to social organization.
The festival purpose is to bring back the atmosphere of peasent life in the 17°century and show the old trades.
During this event you can taste local dishes but there are also markets and shows, as well as the opening of the old cellars that we call 'vouti' here!
The Charta della Regola is back with its 33rd edition, from 27 July to 4 August 2024!
